I am a PhD student in Bioinformatics Laboratory supervised by Prof. Blaz Zupan.
I am interested in mathematical modelling, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining and probabilistic numerics. Specifically, my research focuses on modelling large-scale and heterogeneous data sources and their fusion to infer joint prediction models by developing novel approaches that are inspired by matrix analysis, factorized models, numerical methods and optimization. Problems I investigate are motivated by current research in bioinformatics and systems biology.
