On Saturday, 9 March 2013 at 8.00 the student hack-a-thon for developing mobile applications for the BlackBerry 10 platform will take place at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science (FRI). FRI is the main organiser, while the co-organiser is the Canadian company BlackBerry. There will also be great prizes to win: tablet computers and smartphones.
Hack-a-thon is an event where an individual or a group of two developers develop an application in ten hours, at the end of which a specialised committee with members from FRI, Blackberry, and a Slovenian team of BlackBerry device developers choose the winners. Experienced developers and experts will provide advice to participants during the development process.
