The course will provide an overview of different methods in artificial intelligence fields, including: machine learning, problem space search, playing games, planning, scheduling, and reasoning.

The goal of the course is to acquaint students with the basic concepts, terminology and methods in this field, thus providing the ability to solve problems with the mentioned methods. The acquired knowledge also helps to understand the literature in the field, the technological achievements of artificial intelligence and its implications in philosophy, psychology and ethics.

The course consists of lectures and lab work.
The coursework consists of approximately 5 quizzes, distributed every 2-3 weeks of lectures, and a final exam.
