A highly-selective program track for students with a strong background in mathematics, computer science, and/or applied statistics. The track features a demanding curriculum that focuses on equipping the students with the theoretical foundations and practical skills that they need to become leading data science professionals, researchers, or teachers of data science.
In the case of limited enrollment, candidates are selected based on their undergraduate GPA and an entrance exam.
The selection exam will include mathematics (40% of the grade), programming (40%), algorithms (10%), and computer systems (10%). Prerequisite knowledge and recommended readings can be found on the DataScience@UL-FRI website.
