Project type: Research projects ARRS
Project duration: 2026 - 2029
  • Description

The research project proposes the development of new methods for integrating and analyzing urban data that are essential for supporting decision-making in sustainable renewal and optimization measures in urban environments. The proposed study promotes the use of open-source data and the exchange of analytical methods in line with the principles of open science, while systematically developing the potential for data interoperability and methodological transferability. In doing so, it contributes not only to the advancement of individual analytical approaches, but also to the establishment of an open ecosystem for the exchange of data, methodologies, and good practices, thereby enabling broader applicability of results across diverse urban settings. The research is, at its core, interdisciplinary and requires active collaboration across different research fields. To achieve the stated objectives, the integration of urban studies with information technology and the analytical sciences is of key importance.
