A memorial service in memory of young researcher Pouriya Miri will be held on Monday, 21 September 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the thesis room on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, Večna pot 113, Ljubljana. You are cordially invited.

Pouriya worked as a young researcher and a member of the Laboratory for Data Technologies at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana.

During his time at our faculty, Pouriya distinguished himself through his dedication to research, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to advancing knowledge in computer and information science, specializing in data-driven scientific decision-making with applications in digital transformation and smart public governance. In his doctoral research, he explored how digital technologies can contribute to more effective public administration and the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Beyond his academic contributions, he will be remembered for his kindness, openness, exploratory spirit, and the warmth he brought to our community.

His journey ended far too soon. At the faculty, we will honor the memory of his work, his dedication, and his contribution to the community of which he was a part.
