- First place for the Orange team at the curling championship

Team Orange from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science UL took the first place at the University of Ljubljana Curling Championship 2016/17 on 14 and 15 November 2016 at Ledena dvorana Zalog. 85 students and 19 teams have taken part of the event.
The team Orange from FRI is composed by four members: Lan Žagar, Ajda Pretnar, Jaka Jenko and Ernest Belčič. Three of them are also members of the Curling Club Ljubljana. They described the competition as pretty hard as the matches followed in succession without any breaks. They congratulated also the other teams.
Second place was taken by the team Autsajderji from the Faculty of Sport UL and third place was taken by the team Žar Crew from the Faculty of Pharmacy UL. First eight teams will be qualified for the Curling National University Championship (DUP) on 5 December 2016.
