- Virtual walk through Slovenia in Minecraft

Laboratory for Computer Graphics and Multimedia at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science developed a project that enables a virtual walk through Slovenia in the popular game Minecraft.
As part of a LiDAR visualization project the researchers have presented the use of discretized LiDAR data for photorealistic rendering of Slovenian landscape built from blocks. By initiative of some students they developed a custom Minecraft server plugin.
