• Prospective Doctoral Student Day

We invite you to join us for an informational session on the Doctoral Study Program in Computer Science and Informatics, which will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 16:00 in lecture hall 19 at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana (Večna pot 113, Ljubljana).

The doctoral program is intended for those who wish to engage in in-depth research and scientific work. The latter is essential for understanding new technologies and approaches, fostering innovations, and breakthroughs in development. With a Doctor of Science degree in computer science and informatics, you can pursue a career both in academia and in the market, as these are among the most sought-after skills today.

During the informational session, you will receive all the necessary information about third-cycle studies. We will present the Computer Science and Informatics program, followed by a brief reception where you will have the opportunity for informal conversations with doctoral students and program instructors.

The call for applications for doctoral study programs is published on the website of the Doctoral School of the University of Ljubljana in March 2024. Applications for enrollment are submitted through the eVŠ portal.

For more information about the study program and enrollment process, please contact the Student Office at doktorski.studij@fri.uni-lj.si or +386 1 479 8123.

During the informational session, we will introduce you to numerous opportunities for teaching and research work alongside your studies at the faculty, which provide employment and cover tuition fees (partially or fully, subject to agreement with the project leader).

You will have the chance to ask questions at the event or you can send them to us in advance. To facilitate event organization, we kindly ask you to RSVP in advance at pr@fri.uni-lj.si. Your email address will be used for additional event reminders, deadlines for enrollment applications, and informing you about employment opportunities for doctoral students.
