We invite all undergraduate students who are interested in continuing their studies at the second cycle (master’s level) at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, to attend the Prospective Master's Student Day, which will take place on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at 16:00 in Lecture Hall 1 at UL FRI, Večna pot 113, Ljubljana.


At the information day, you will receive all the necessary information about master’s study programmes, and we will also introduce the admission requirements and application procedures.

At UL FRI, we offer eight master’s study programmes or study tracks that provide a wide range of knowledge in the fields of computer science, informatics, and related areas.

The following study programmes and tracks will be presented at the information day:

Presentations of other interdisciplinary study programmes in which FRI participates to a lesser extent will be held at separate information days at the respective faculties. More information is available on the programme websites:

  • Applied Statistics
  • Cognitive Science (information day: 29 May at 17:00 at the Faculty of Education)
  • Digital Linguistics (information day: 16 April 2026 at 12:00 in Lecture Hall 31 at the Faculty of Arts; more information available on the Faculty of Arts UL website)
  • Bioinformatics (information day: 22 April 2026 at 15:00 at the Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Biology, B5)

Call for Applications
The Call for Applications for enrolment in second-cycle (master’s) study programmes at the University of Ljubljana is published on the UL website.

Deadlines for submitting applications via the eVŠ system and deadlines for submitting proof of meeting the admission requirements vary depending on the study programme. More information about the application procedures will be presented at the information day.
