The Selection Exam for Enrollment in Master's Degree Programs will take place on Monday, 13 July 2026, at 4 PM, at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Večna pot 113, Ljubljana.


Due to the higher number of applications than the number of places available, restrictions apply to Slovenian and EU citizens as well as to foreigners enrolled in the Master's degree programmes:

  • Computer and Information Science,
  • Computer and Information Science - Data Science,
  • Multimedia *.

Participation in the Selection Exam is compulsory. Candidates who do not take the exam will not be admitted. The exam will only be held physically at the faculty for both Slovenian and foreign candidates.

 

* Note: Slovenian and EU applicants who listed Multimedia as their first choice for admission to FRI will not take the Multimedia selection exam, as the number of first-choice applicants (20) is fewer than the number of available spots (30). These applicants will be automatically admitted to the program provided they meet the other admission requirements specified in the call for applications.
Slovenian and EU applicants who listed Multimedia as their second or third choice, as well as all foreign applicants, must take the selection exam in order to be considered for the remaining available spots.

All those wishing to enrol in the Master's programme are reminded that the supporting documents required for enrolment (e.g. degree certificate) must be submitted by 15 September 2026.
